DealStation™ Charts

Recently added to the trading platform, the Charts section provides traders convenient access to technical tools within the platform environment. Open a new chart instance using the CHARTS menu, right-click anywhere on the chart space, and you will get a grey menu box demonstrated above.

As you can see, this menu allows you to select your chart's time interval, switch between bars and candlesticks, add (or remove) indicators, and adjust your chart's color and font settings. Pressing the right mouse button on the indicator space allows you to change indicator parameters or to delete them from your screen.

In addition to these menus, DealStation™ Charts contain a tool bar for a variety of charting options. The following is a brief summary for the function of each button:

Attach / Detach Tool Bar

Info window for Open/High/Low/Close levels at any given point in time

Crosshair

Selector: update parameters or delete any of the indicators on the chart space

Handle: Shift the chart to the left and right

Line: Right-click with Selector tool to move, extend, duplicate, or delete

Horizontal Line: Right-click with Selector tool to move, duplicate, or delete

Vertical Line: Right-click with Selector tool to move, duplicate, or delete

Fibonacci retracements: Right-click with Selector tool to adjust settings or delete
