Alert!FX™™ offers Technical Indicator Alerts
Moving Average Signal | RSI Signal | MACD Signal
Alert!FX™ now has technical indicator alerts to supplement the existing news, rate, margin, and other customizable features, located at www.alertfx.com. The enhanced version now offers Moving Averages (Simple, Weighted, Exponential), Relative Strength Index (RSI), and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) alerts.
After logging into their accounts, Alert!FX™ users can create technical indicator alerts by clicking the new 'Indicator' alerts option, as shown in the red below.
Alert!FX™ can send alerts to any wireless device with text messaging ability. In the picture below, you can see the interface in 3 different sections: The top section, labeled as Section I, lets the user enter the New Alert information, including the Title, Currency, Time Interval, Message, Desired Location, and Trigger Alerts.
Moving Average Signal:
The middle section, labeled as Section II, allows the user to enter the type of Indicator and Interval. To generate the alert, the indicator designated in Section III will need to cross the indicator selected in Section II.
Alert!FX™ also offers traders the option of selecting the type of crossing. Possible crossings include from the Bottom up, the Top down or simply an intersection of the two indicators. In the picture above, the option, "from the bottom up", is highlighted in the green box. Users must also select the Interval and Time period for the alert to be created.
In the example above, an alert has been set for when the EUR/USD 4-day Simple Moving Average will cross the 9-day Simple Moving Average, and move above. To learn more about how moving averages work, read our Educational Article on Trent Indicators.
Two more examples featuring charts show the relevance and precision of the new technical indicator alerts:
RSI Signal:
In the pictures above, a trader sets an alert to receive notice when the RSI crosses above the 70-level. The yellow circle on the chart shows the purple RSI line just below the 70-level. It is important to note that Alert!FX™ not only lets the trader set up alerts when two indicators cross each other, but it also sends alerts when an indicator breaches a critical level, such as the RSI crossing above the 70 level. To learn more about the RSI indicator, read our Educational Article on Oscillator Indicators II.
MACD Signal:
In the picture above, the trader has set up an alert to be triggered when the MACD line crosses the slower signal line. In the red highlighted area above, you can see the yellow MACD line just below the purple Signal line. Alert!FX™ can notify the Trader once these lines cross. To learn more about the MACD indicator, read our Educational Article on Oscillator Indicators II.
The newly enhanced Alert!FX™ is the first of its kind. It has made technical analysis a more usable and lucrative tool for traders, as it keeps traders connected to the charts 24 hours a day. These alerts can introduce forex traders to market timing never previously experienced. You can join Alert!FX™ for free by signing up now at www.alertfx.com.
